The image is a reminder of the already visible impacts that climate change has on nature.
The wood carving is done on three solid pear tree woodblocks.
There is the block for the background, the key block for printing the outlines of the branches and leaves and the third block is a reduction cut for the multiple layer printing of the branches’ texture.
The inks and pigments used are high-quality inks and light-safe.
This print comes with a custom made picture frame made of natural oak wood and museum-graded glass.
The print is #2 of a limited edition of 12; all hand-printed therefore no one print is the same that the other.Hand-printed on Japanese Awagami 80g Kozo natural paper
